You might ask: "What is the meaning of RD2?" You may have seen IC800 models without this suffix. In fact, this RD2 version is very special and is the biggest selling point. The "R" stands for Ruggedized. This means it has a special version update or a protective coating to make it much more durable. It can work in extreme environments with heavy shaking (vibration) or big temperature changes.
